Our Braked Antimicrobial Castor Wheels are a specialised caster designed to prevent the growth and spread of harmful microorganisms such as bacteria, fungi and viruses. They have a unique coating containing silver ions that interferes with the DNA replication of pathogens. They are often used by our customers in healthcare facilities, laboratories, and food processing plants, where these properties are necessary to maintain strict hygiene standards.
This range of casters has a body constructed of a high quality Polyamide and a soft Polyurethane tyre. We offer them in both braked and unbraked versions, as required. They are available with 3 options for mounting: via a metal stem, a threaded metal stem or a metal fixing plate.
This particular castor features a wheel brake. It has a 75mm Wheel Diameter and the Diameter of the fixing stem or plate is M10 x 15mm. The distance from the floor to the bottom of the fixing stem or plate is 80mm. It is available in a Grey coloured Polyamide and Polyurethane pairing. If the product uses a fixing plate, the Distance from screw hole to screw hole will be N/A and it will use a N/A Screw Size.
