Our Fibre Washers are manufactured to DIN125A from a premium grade of vulcanised fibre. Vulcanised Fibre is often used as a washer or gasket which demands high levels of stability and rigidity. It is made from cellulose fibres such as cotton and then treated with heat and chemicals to increase its strength, durability and resistance to moisture and chemicals.
Our Fibre Washers are available in a teal/ black dual colour. The washers have been approved for use in water systems in the UK by the Water Regulations Advisory Scheme which means that they can be used within water systems. Their fibre construction provides a resistance to corrosion and good electrical insulation properties. They are lightweight and have an impressive ability to absorb shocks and vibrations.
Fibre washers are also highly effective in providing a seal between two surfaces and are commonly used in water systems; around taps and valves. They are capable of forming a tight seal that prevents the leakage of liquids and gases; they are able to withstand a temperature range of between -20°C to 105°C and have a good resistence to wear, fatigue and impact.
Our Fibre WRAS Washers are available in M3 to M16 sizes and are manufactured in a natural colour. If you require a bespoke Washer, please get in touch for a custom quotation.
