Our Heavy Duty Handles are ideal for industrial settings and can be used for a variety of different applications such as manufacturing machinery and industrial enclosures.
These Handles are made from a robust reinforced Nylon material which is 15% glass filled PA6; making them ideal for heavy duty use. Nylon has a UL 94 HB Flammability Rating; which means that it can endure slow horizontal burning on a 3mm thick specimen if the burning rate is less than 3” per minute or stops burning before the 5” mark.
These Heavy Duty Handles can be permanently adjusted in width by the user simply by using a saw to remove excess material from the central aluminium tube. The two nylon end caps are removable and feature 10mm plain moulded bores which require fastening from above with M10 Bolts.
These Handles are stocked in industrial sizes which can bear the weight of heavy doors and are easy to grasp thanks to their large surface area and matt finish.
How do I maintain these Handles?
We would recommend using a soap product which has a pH of between 6-8 and does not contain chlorine; ensuring that any soap residue is thoroughly rinsed with water afterwards. This handle can be deconstructed by removing the two end caps for thorough cleaning.
