Hose clamps are a versatile component that are useful for securing a variety of essential industrial and commercial applications. They are generally employed to fasten and hold steady large bundles of cables and various types of industrial hoses. We have assembled a diverse range of different hose clamp products that are built from different materials and are suitable for fastening cables, tubing and hoses in different environments.
Worm Drive Clamps:
Our standard range of hose clamps are known as worm drive clamps. This is the typical product that most people imagine when you use the term hose clamp. They are constructed from metal which varies in strength and durability from the cheapest W1 (zinc plated steel) up to W5 (marine grade stainless steel). These are medium to heavy duty hose clamps and suitable for use in personal projects, as well as some industrial and commercial applications. We offer a great range of sizes from 8mm clamping hole diameter up to 110mm.
Heavy Duty T Bolt Clamps: These are similar to worm drive clamps, but provide a higher strength upgrade, through the use of a T bolt. Like worm drive clamps, they are available in a range of metal grades from W1 to W5, but generally offer a comparatively heavy duty hose clamping solution. T bolt clamps are primarily used for demanding industrial applications in harsh environments. We offer a broad range of sizing from 17mm hole diameter up to 112mm.
Small Hose Clamps: A smaller scale hose clamp solution, small hose clamps resembles a worm drive clamp that has been shrunk in size. It has been designed for use in confined spaces and is available in zinc plated steel or stainless steel. This provides a medium to heavy duty solution, that offers good clamping strength, despite its small size. They are available in sizes from 7mm to 20mm.
Rubber Lined P Clips: These are not technically a hose clamp but share a similar use case. P clips are generally used for supporting and holding up cable bundles and hoses by bolting them against a wall or flat surface. They are rubber lined to provide cushioning and should be sufficient for non-heavy-duty applications. There is a choice between zinc plated steel and stainless steel and they are available with 3mm to 70mm hole diameters.
Plastic Hose Clips: These are a lightweight plastic equivalent to worm drive clamps. Though not a heavy-duty solution, they are constructed from a premium nylon 6/6 which offers enough strength to secure the majority of pipes, cable bundles and smaller hoses. Our plastic hose clips have great material properties and are resistant to corrosion, salt water degradation, weak acids, alkalis, grease and common solvents. This, coupled with a 94V-2 flammability rating and operating temperature of 0°C to 105°C makes them a good choice for industrial uses. We supply these as standard in 9mm to 54mm hole diameters.
Heavy Duty P Clamps: While not specifically a hose clamp, this product serves a similar use case. It is typically used as a heavy-duty solution for securing heavy bundles of cables, wires and tubing to walls and flat surfaces. Our P clamps are made from high quality UV-stabilised nylon 6/6 and a choice of either zinc plated steel or stainless steel, for maximum durability. This product is suitable for use in commercial or industrial environments.
Our range of hose clamps have excellent durability. Our high quality stainless steel hose clamps enjoy a wide range of uses in many demanding industrial settings. We are proud to assist in supplying British industry with these useful components. Some examples of specific applications within the UK include:
Automotive industry: Small hose clamps are also commonly referred to as petrol pipe clips. They are commonly used in vehicles to secure important pipes and hoses that deliver fuel to the engine. Small stainless steel hose clamps are often used to attach vehicle exhaust systems thanks to their strong resistance to rusting and corrosion.
HVAC systems: Worm drive clamps are used to secure large or heavy ducting and ventilation tubes that are used in heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems.
Water treatment plants: Hose clamps are often used in water treatment facilities to secure piping, plumbing and hoses that deliver water and chemicals at high pressures.
Food, pharmaceutical and chemical plants: Stainless steel hose clamps have excellent resistance to many harsh and abrasive chemicals and are well suited to withstand daily washdowns and cleaning solutions. They offer a high strength and hygienic fixing solution for fastening hoses, pipes and delivery tubes in food production, pharmaceutical and chemical factories.
As a leading hose clamps supplier in the UK, Vital Parts ensures a comprehensive supply of hose clamps. Our commitment to quality is reflected in the varying styles, standards and materials that we offer, catering to the unique demands of diverse industries. We have developed a strong supply chain that is capable of delivering high quality hose clamps in large scale quantities suitable for industrial and commercial projects.
Our standard range of hose clamps can accommodate a huge range of sizes. We can supply worm drive clamps in a size of up to 310mm hole diameter. We can also cater to hole diameters in inches if this is required, supplying between half an inch and 12 inches hole diameter. This makes our range suitable for a large range of applications, but if you have any hose clamp requirements that aren’t listed, please contact us as we can offer customisation upon request.
We offer a versatile range of hose clamps tailored to diverse industrial needs in the UK. Our clamps, available in various styles like worm drive, T bolt, and small hose clamps, provide secure and reliable fastening solutions. Engineered for durability, these clamps ensure optimal performance in different environments, from automotive and marine applications to construction sites and electronic manufacturing. With options like rubber-lined P clips and plastic hose clips, our hose clamps offer vibration resistance and lightweight solutions. The heavy-duty P clamps are designed to secure large cable bundles in industrial settings. Hose clamps are easy to install and remove, requiring just minimal adjustment with pliers or other common hand tools. Ultimately, hose clamps offer a cost-effective, reusable and economical way of securing valuable hoses that are needed for heavy duty industrial applications.
While searching for hose clamps and hose fastening solutions, it could be a good idea to protect your hose with some of our spiral hose wrap. Built from a high density Polyethylene, these hose guards wrap tightly around the hose to protect it from shocks, abrasions and exposure to high temperatures and chemicals. This often pays dividends in commercial or industrial environments where prolonging the lifespan of expensive hoses leads to cost savings over time.
