Torx Pan PT45 Screws for Hard Plastics

Torx Pan PT45 Screws are design for use with hard plastic and are available in Zinc Plated Steel (Silver + Black) as well as Stainless Steel. The Torx Drive provides higher torque transfers than most other drive types and the pan head is suitable for a wide range of applications. PT45 threads are designed for good performance in harder plastics, or plastics featuring fibre reinforcement. The PT45 thread is trilobular and at a 45 degree angle. Our Torx Pan PT45 screws for plastics are all available in three materials:

• Bright Zinc Plated Steel – This is the most commonly used and standard finish as it’s economical and suitable for the majority of applications, featuring a bright metallic silver colour.  
• Black Zinc Plated Steel – This finish is mechanically identical to the silver colour zinc. They are commonly used for their aesthetic purposes, in industries such as automotive interiors, PC or computer server building or retail displays. 
• A2 Stainless Steel – This material has the highest corrosion resistance, usable in industries such as petrol / chemical applications, outdoor applications as well as food / catering. 

These fasteners have a Pan head but are available in Countersunk or Flanged. These Screws for Plastic come with a Torx drive, but are available with a Pozi drive.
