Nylon Dome Nut

Our range of Nylon Dome Nuts, also known as Acorn Nuts or Cap Nuts, are manufactured to DIN 1587 from high quality nylon, which provides an excellent level of resistance and strength across medium to heavy loads. These Nylon Dome Nuts are not threaded all the way through, which provides extra protection to the thread as well as an aesthetically pleasing finish.

Our Nylon Dome Nuts have many notable specifications, such as being made from Nylon 66, which is a strong and durable plastic material that has good resistance to heat, chemicals and abrasion. They are available in sizes M3, M4, M5, M6, M8, M10 and M12. They are also UL94-V2 fire rated and have an operating temperature range of -35°C to +85°C.

Nylon Dome Nuts are used for aesthetic and practical reasons in various applications, such as furniture, electronics, machinery and automotive. They can prevent contact with other components and improve safety whilst reducing corrosion and wear on threads.

Nylon Dome Nuts are most commonly used in conjunction with Nylon Screws. These products are used to hold Fasteners in place, joining two or more parts together. We also offer Nylon Hex Nuts and a range of Stainless Steel Dome Nuts.

Our Nylon Dome Nut range varies in sizes from M3 to M12, for our full range of sizes you can take a look at our product table which is displayed below, or get in touch with a member of our staff for further information or enquiries regarding custom sizes.
