Nylon Screws & Bolts
We stock a large range of Nylon Screws across a number of drive types, including Hex, Philips, Socket, and Slotted. This is along with head types covering Regular, Slotted, or Countersunk (Cheese Head, Knurled and Slotted for Thumbscrews). Each Nylon Screw is manufactured from a high quality, lightweight form of Nylon to a specific DIN specification, with most typical ones covered (DIN 7991, DIN 965, DIN 963).
The use of Nylon is recommended over their Metal Screw counterparts for their extensive range of properties. They feature a rust proof, non conductive, and lightweight solution. This offers the same level of strength as metal, but without some of the drawbacks. For use in high performance installations, Nylon is often preferred. This is thanks to it's ability to be melted out of an application, whereas metal does not offer this level of flexibility.
Furthermore, our Nylon Screws and Bolts are Flame Rated to UL 94-V2. You can read more about UL 94 ratings within our blog post 'The Complete Guide To UL 94 Ratings'
As a manufacturer, we are able to supply a large range of options for each screw types, with hundreds of sizes available for most solutions. We have the ability to produce a custom solution if there is not an existing option available within our product range. If you're unsure of any size or product information, we urge you to get in touch.
Available in a range of Metric Nylon Screw sizes, including M2, M3, M4, M5, M6, M8, M10, M12, M14, M16, M18, M20 & M24.

Frequently Asked Questions
Nylon is part of the synthetic polymer family and is regarded as a thermoplastic linear polyamide, made up of a number of fibres which are manipulated when heated to produce a specific shape. Nylon is widely used in high performance situations within industries such as automotive and aerospace over general plastics like HDPE due to the lightweight nature of the material aswell as its low-wearing properties which provide longevity.
