Self Amalgamating Silicone Tape
Our Self-Amalgamating Silicone Tape, also known as Self-Adhesive or Self-fusing silicone tape, is made from high quality self-fusing silicone rubber. This silicone tape does not contain any adhesive and fuses to itself. It comes supplied with insulation film to stop premature self-amalgamation and requires stretching to self-fuse.
What is self amalgamating repair tape?
Self amalgamating repair tape is a non-adhesive silicone based tape that bonds to itself when stretched and wrapped under tension. Unlike traditional tapes it does not rely on glue meaning it creates a permanent airtight and watertight seal by fusing layers together. This makes it ideal for emergency repairs insulation and sealing applications where reliability and durability are required.
Silicone tapes are ideal for repairing and sealing broken cables leaking pipes and broken seals. Silicone Tape is UV water and weather resistant. PVC Electrical Tape has a temperature rating of -10°C to +80°C. Our Silicone Tape has a dielectric strength of 25kV/mm.
Our Silicone Tape comes in a black or red in widths of 25mm and lengths of 3m.
