75mm High Temperature Polyester Masking Discs – Green (250 per Roll)
Protect a defined 75mm round contact area from coating with these pre-cut polyester masking discs. They combine green polyester film with silicone adhesive and are supplied as 250 discs on a roll. The specified 75mm size makes it straightforward to match the masking disc to a circular feature.
What Are High Temperature Polyester Masking Discs?
A polyester masking disc is a self-adhesive circular cover for a localised area that should remain uncoated. The green film marks the protected spot while the silicone adhesive holds the disc during the relevant coating stage. Its wider diameter covers a more substantial round patch where a coating-free area has been specified. The polyester masking materials described for this category are suitable for temperatures up to 220°C; actual suitability depends on the complete finishing process.
Common Applications
- Component finishing: Masking contact faces or other specified spots that must remain free from an applied finish.
- Workshop refinishing: Protecting defined circular surfaces while nearby material receives a new coating.
- Surface treatment: Separating a localised round area from the surrounding surface during compatible finishing work.
- Paint line work: Using a consistent pre-cut disc diameter for repeated masking at selected positions.
