Designed for computer and server assemblies, this 2.5mm x 8mm Pozi Pan PT30 Screw uses a 30° thread form to create a mating thread in compatible soft plastics with reduced radial stress compared with conventional 60° self tapping forms. The Black Zinc Plated Steel screw combines a Pan head with a PZ1 Pozi drive for controlled assembly into suitable pilot holes.
What Are Pozi Pan PT30 Screws?
PT30 Screws are thread-forming fasteners developed specifically for plastics. Rather than cutting chips from the material like a conventional self tapping screw, the thread profile displaces the plastic to create a mating thread.
