88.9mm Thin Head Round Tube Insert - 1.5-3.0mm Wall - Black LDPE
This 88.9mm outside diameter black LDPE thin head round tube insert with a low 4.5mm head height - the metric equivalent of 3.5 inch nominal is designed for heavy structural round tube applications where a standard collar height would be too prominent. Suited to heavy structural CHS tube, large gate and fence posts and major structural steelwork. Fits round tube with a 1.5-3.0mm wall thickness, covering light to medium gauge profiles, with an inner bore range of 82.9-85.9mm.
The ribbed shank pushes into the tube bore and grips securely without tools or adhesive - sealing the tube end against dust and debris while the low-profile head sits discreetly at the tube opening. Black provides a clear visual contrast against most tube and frame finishes, making it easy to confirm all inserts are correctly seated before the product leaves the factory. Made from flexible LDPE - corrosion resistant, easy to install by hand and suitable for indoor and sheltered outdoor use.
