This 12.7mm outside diameter grey LDPE round tube insert - designed for lightweight chair legs, small shelving brackets and compact furniture frames. At 12.7mm outside diameter with a 0.8-2.0mm wall thickness range, this is a medium-short-depth insert covering ultra-thin to standard gauge tube. Fits round tube with an inner bore of 8.7-11.1mm. The 4.0mm head height creates a neat collar at the tube end for a clean finished appearance.
The ribbed shank pushes firmly into the bore of the round tube and locks in place without tools or adhesive - sealing the open end against dust, debris and moisture ingress while giving the product a clean finished appearance. Grey is the preferred colour for office furniture systems, commercial shelving and contemporary workspace products where white is too clinical and black too industrial - it matches silver, graphite and light grey powder-coated tube frames naturally.
