82.6mm Round Tube Insert - 2.4-5.0mm Wall - Grey LDPE
This 82.6mm outside diameter grey LDPE round tube insert - designed for heavy structural CHS tube, large gate and fence posts and major structural steelwork. At 82.6mm outside diameter with a 2.4-5.0mm wall thickness range, this is a medium-deep-depth insert covering medium to moderately heavy gauge tube. Fits round tube with an inner bore of 72.6-77.8mm. The 6.0mm head height creates a neat collar at the tube end for a clean finished appearance.
The ribbed shank pushes firmly into the bore of the round tube and locks in place without tools or adhesive - sealing the open end against dust, debris and moisture ingress while giving the product a clean finished appearance. Grey is the preferred colour for office furniture systems, commercial shelving and contemporary workspace products where white is too clinical and black too industrial - it matches silver, graphite and light grey powder-coated tube frames naturally. Made from LDPE (low-density polyethylene) - flexible enough to compress slightly on insertion for a snug, rattle-free fit, corrosion resistant and safe in food-contact adjacent environments.
