Our high temperature bungs or heat resistant bungs are made from high temperature silicone rubber and can withstand temperatures up to 315°C. The tapered shape makes them suitable for use across a range of diameters and hole sizes. They are commonly used as masking bungs and masking plugs in industries such as powder coating, shot blasting, anodising, and printing to mask off and seal objects that are regularly exposed to high temperatures. The rubber bungs are available in a vast selection of size ranges and are a cost-effective solution that can be reused multiple times. Tapered rubber plugs are perfect for sealing off and protecting holes, and are commonly used for masking purposes. Commonly used by our customers as shot blasting bungs and powder coating bungs.
