The M10 x 40mm slotted set screw is four full thread diameters - the longest standard M10 grub screw we stock. At 40mm this is a very specialist item - a long headless M10 threaded body with a cup point end used in custom industrial jigs, deep-bore structural assemblies and heavy plant mechanisms that require an M10 thread to reach a contact point far below the component surface. Drive with a flat-head screwdriver. A2 stainless steel (304 / 18-8) handles harsh industrial and damp environments. DIN 438 / ISO 7436 compliant.
