The M8 x 20mm slotted set screw is two and a half thread diameters - a long-engagement option for heavy-duty M8 shaft retention where maximum holding strength is needed. Specified for large drive shafts in industrial plant, heavy coupling assemblies and machinery operating under continuous high-torque load where a shorter grub screw presents risk of backing off or pull-out. Drive with a flat-head screwdriver. A2 stainless steel (304 / 18-8) for general industrial and lightly corrosive environments. DIN 438 / ISO 7436 compliant.
