The M8 x 40mm slotted set screw is five full thread diameters - the longest standard M8 grub screw we stock. At 40mm this headless screw is used in deep-bore custom assemblies, long-reach adjustment mechanisms and industrial jig and fixture work where you need an M8 threaded body with a cup end reaching an unusually deep contact point. Drive with a flat-head screwdriver. A2 stainless steel (304 / 18-8) is corrosion resistant in damp and chemically active environments. DIN 438 / ISO 7436 compliant.
