Non-Standard Thread Protection Nut and Washer Caps

Our Non-Standard Thread Protection Nut and Washer Caps, which are also known as Screw Protection Caps, Nut Caps, Washer Caps or Bolt Caps, are ideal for load bearing projects. There is a large, flanged surface area at the base of these Caps; making them ideal for protecting washers which do not conform to the DIN 125 standard.

As well as protecting the washer, these Non-Standard Thread Protection Nut and Washer Caps are also designed to protect exposed threads and nuts from corrosion which can lead to structural instability.

The internal structure of these caps is ribbed; deforming when they are fitted onto the thread and further increasing the clamping effect of the caps.

It is particularly important to conceal fasteners with a protective cap to prevent the risk of injury to workers and members of the public.

How do I work out which size is most suitable for my project?
As these Caps are not made to a generic DIN standard, we recommend basing your purchase on the Diameter and Thickness of your chosen Washer and cross referencing it with our parts.
