Sustainable Plastic
What is Sustainable Plastic?
Plastic can be considered 'sustainable' if it is made from recycled plastic waste, which is also known as post consumer regrind, or if it is made from organic materials such as Bioplastic which are fully recyclable.
In the UK, just 45% of plastics are recycled. This means that 55% of plastic waste will end up in landfill. In an effort to reduce plastic waste, we aim to stock as many sustainable and reusable products as we can.
Material Selection Guide
As well as being ustainable plastics are better for the environment, they may not necessarily be the most appropriate material for your project. Within this Material Selection Guide, we will outline the key material attributes for each of our Sustainable Plastics; providing you with peace of mind.

How is Bioplastic made?
Our Bioplastic products are made from plant-based, fossil-free materials which are fully recyclable. They have a similar production process to that of fossil fuelled plastics but differ in their chemical composition.; without compromising on quality.

Centre Pull Tab Caps
Our Centre Pull Tab Caps are ideal for providing protection to studs, nipples and pipes. They can withstand increased force due to their internal ribs which feature deformation zones.
Finned Pull Tab Plugs
Our Finned Pull Tab Plugs are ideal for fluid carrying systems such as fuel line connectors and injectors, as well as being suitable for the automotive industry due to their tapered design.
Cylindrical Pull Tab Plugs
Our Cylindrical Pull Tab Plugs are ideal for providing protection to fuel and fluid lines, as well as being suitable for the automotive industry.
