PG 16 Cable Gland Lock Nut | Light Gray (RAL 7035) Nylon
Designed to secure compatible cable glands through panels and enclosure walls, this PG 16 Light Gray (RAL 7035) Nylon Cable Gland Lock Nut uses a 6.0mm high Plain profile with 30mm across flats. The threaded ring tightens against the inside of the panel to hold the gland securely in position.
What Are Nylon Cable Gland Lock Nuts?
Nylon lock nuts provide a lightweight non-metallic way to secure cable glands to compatible threaded entries. Their hexagonal outside profile allows straightforward tightening while the internal thread matches the cable gland connection.
Common Applications
- Panel Building: Provides a threaded gland fixing where the enclosure specification calls for a PG connection.
- Maintenance Stock: Provides a useful replacement component for servicing older or mixed-standard gland installations.
- Industrial Machinery: Provides a replacement fastening ring for equipment that continues to use PG gland entries.
- Equipment Refurbishment: Replaces missing lock nuts while retaining the original PG-thread cable entry format.
