This black 51mm x 57mm plastic detent hinge comes set with no detent angle, making it a free swinging variation of detent hinge. This will allow the attached door or lid to swing fully closed and will not be held open at a predetermined angle. Our other variations of detent hinges provide detent angles of 80°, 115° or 150°.
Detent hinges are designed to give the user easy access to the inside of objects like cabinets and boxes. As the object's lids, doors and hatches will remain open at the fixed point of the detent angle.
It is made from a high grade thermoplastic to ensure high durability and impact resistance. It comes in a smooth matte black finish and has a leaf hinge shape and the style of a butt hinge with dimensions of 51mm x 57mm x 18mm. Cap covers are also provided to cover and hide the mounting screws.
