Detent Plastic Hinge

Our Detent Plastic Hinges, also known as detent hinges, hinges with detent, or position control hinges, are lightweight, strong, and durable, engineered to hold doors, lids, and hatches securely at fixed positions for hands-free access to cabinets and enclosures. Made from high-impact resistant thermoplastic, these hinges eliminate the need for gas struts, saving space and simplifying design.

Each hinge is mounted using four thru-holes, which can later be covered with the included protective caps to hide and safeguard the mounting hardware. These hinges are available in four detent angle options: None, 80°, 115°, and 150°, allowing precise positioning based on your application.

With a hinge positioning torque of 1.2 Nm, these hinges can also withstand a radial load of 450 N and an axial load of 450 N, delivering reliability and long-term performance in demanding environments.
