This M42 x 63.0mm Nord-Lock® Washer | Delta Protekt® Hardened Steel provides a secure wedge-locking washer for assemblies where maintaining clamp load is essential. What Are Nord-Lock® Washers?
These anti-vibration washers work in pairs. The inward-facing cams create the locking mechanism and the outward-facing teeth hold against the surrounding surfaces. As the cam angle is greater than the thread pitch angle, the bolt would need to stretch before it could rotate loose, helping the assembly retain clamp force.
