This 165.1mm outside diameter grey LDPE round tube insert - designed for major structural CHS tube and large-diameter civil engineering pipe sections. At 165.1mm outside diameter with a 3.2-7.5mm wall thickness range, this is a deep-depth insert covering heavy structural gauge tube. Fits round tube with an inner bore of 150.1-158.7mm. The 6.0mm head height creates a neat collar at the tube end for a clean finished appearance.
The ribbed shank pushes firmly into the bore of the round tube and locks in place without tools or adhesive - sealing the open end against dust, debris and moisture ingress while giving the product a clean finished appearance. Grey is the preferred colour for office furniture systems, commercial shelving and contemporary workspace products where white is too clinical and black too industrial - it matches silver, graphite and light grey powder-coated tube frames naturally. Made from LDPE (low-density polyethylene) - flexible enough to compress slightly on insertion for a snug, rattle-free fit, corrosion resistant and safe in food-contact adjacent environments.
