Snap Lock Pins
Snap Lock Pins are push-fit fasteners designed to secure panels and lightweight components through a pre-drilled hole with no screws, nuts or installation tools required. Once inserted, the flexible locking legs expand behind the panel to hold the joint firmly in place, supporting fast, repeatable assembly in production, maintenance and on-site fitting.
What are Snap Lock Pins?
Snap Lock Pins (also referred to as an arrowhead design) are nylon panel fixings that create a secure mechanical lock when pushed into a panel hole. This makes them a practical solution where metal fixings are not suitable, where access is restricted or where a quick, clean method of fastening is required without threaded hardware.
How to Install
Push the pin into a correctly sized hole. During insertion the legs compress, then expand on the reverse side of the panel to lock the pin in position. This provides reliable retention and helps prevent loosening in vibration-prone assemblies.
