10mm x 10mm Square Tube Insert - 1.5 to 2.0mm Wall - Black LDPE
The SQ001 is a 10mm x 10mm black LDPE square tube insert designed for the smallest standard square section tubing available in UK metalwork. At this scale it is almost exclusively used in miniature display frames, lightweight exhibition stands and precision instrument housings where the square tube is more about structure than load-bearing. The ribbed wall design grips the inside of the tube across a wall thickness range of 1.5 to 2.0mm, making it compatible with the fine-walled steel or aluminium sections common at this size. Simply push the insert in by hand - no tools, no adhesive. Once seated it blocks dust, debris and moisture from entering the open tube end while giving the finished product a professional, clean look. Made from flexible LDPE (low-density polyethylene) so it will not crack, rust or corrode.
