The SQ011 is a 16mm x 16mm black LDPE square tube insert with a 5mm head height and 11.5mm insert length. The 16mm square hollow section is one of the most widely used sizes in UK furniture and light structural fabrication - chair legs, retail display shelving, signal post bases and lightweight modular framing all commonly use 16mm SHS. The broad wall thickness range of 0.8 to 2.5mm makes this insert highly versatile, covering everything from fine-walled furniture tube to heavier structural sections. The push-fit ribbed design locks in without tools and the 5mm head creates a clean, visible collar at the tube end. LDPE will not rust, corrode or crack in typical indoor or sheltered outdoor environments.
