Self Threading Stud Caps

Our Self Threading Stud Caps, also known as Thread Caps or Stud Protection Caps, are made from high quality LDPE anmd are designed to be easily installed to protected exposed threads. These Stud Protection Caps are used to conceal fasteners, but can also offer protection to the otherwise exposed threads from dirt, damage, corrosion or injury.

Our Self Threading Stud Caps are designed to be screwed onto the thread of an existing stud or bolt, where the internal ribs are threaded as the cap is inserted. This provides a strong connection, making it hard to be accidently removed, and provides and excelent seal around the bottom lip protecting the fastener from the elements.

Our Self Threading Stud Caps have external fins to increase grip when threading this cap onto the stud. Our range is suitable for threads from M36 to M48, and are available in several lengths per size.

Our range is suitable for threads from M16 to M90, and are available in several lengths per size. We also offer snap fit Thread Protection Caps for use with hex nuts and washers.

Our LDPE can widstand constant temperatures of 70ºC , and is resistant to:

• Seawater
• Non-Oxidising Acids
• Non-Oxidising Alkaline Solutions
• Alcohol
• Fuels
• Oils
• Greases

We also offer Secure Nut & Bolt Caps and Domed Nut & Bolt Caps.
