Open rubber grommets are snap in inserts that fit into a panel hole to protect cables and wires from sharp edges. These rubber grommets help reduce rubbing and vibration damage where a cable passes through metal enclosures and sheet panels. The grommet holes are open centre, this lets you push cables straight through without feeding connectors, making rubber grommets useful for new installs and maintenance.
