Constant Torque Positioning Hinge

Our Constant Torque Positioning Hinges, also known as Torque Hinges or Constant Torque Hinges, are designed to provide smooth, consistent torque throughout their motion, allowing doors, lids, hatches, or display panels to remain securely positioned at any angle—fully open, fully closed, or anywhere in-between. This makes them ideal for enclosures, cabinets, and machinery where hands-free access and precise positioning are essential.

These hinges are mounted using two thru-hole mounts on each side, ensuring stable installation and high strength. Each hinge delivers a torque of 0.4 Nm, while supporting a radial load of 1100 N and an axial load of 2100 N, providing exceptional durability and reliability in demanding environments.

Constructed from die-cast aluminium with a powder-coated finish and a 304 stainless steel pin, these hinges combine corrosion resistance, strength, and long-lasting performance. Available in 38x40 mm size and stocked in black as standard, they are suitable for a wide range of industrial and commercial applications.
