Male Tapered Thumbscrews
Male Tapered Thumbscrews are perfect for use within the Furniture industry and are specifically useful for display furniture applications. They are made from a resistant Nylon PA6 material and feature a Zinc Plated Steel male thread which is corrosion resistant. Nylon is resistant to a range of chemicals including: Alkalis, Grease, Fuels and Lubricants.
For short term use, this Thumbscrew can be used at a temperature range of between -40°C and 100°C. Our Male Tapered Thumbscrews are stocked in thread sizes of between M4 and M8.
Male Tapered Thumbscrews have a UL 94 HB Flame Rating; relating to slow horizontal burning based on a 3mm thick specimen, with a burning rate of less than 3 inches per minute or when burning stops before the 5 inch mark.
