Saddle Wing Screw Knobs

Our Saddle Wing Screw Knobs are sleek and ideal for projects where frequent adjustments are required; providing the user with a comfortable grip during use. They are ideal for industrial and agricultural applications such as fertiliser spreading machinery.

They have a smart, ergonomic design which increases grip thanks to the two 't-arms' which allow the user to apply a high torque load by using a twisting movement due to there being space to lock fingers into place.

We currently stock these Saddle Wing Screw Knobs in a resistant matte black Phenolic Plastic material which increases fluidity of movement due to it's anti-slip texture.

Phenolic Plastic is dense and has a high level of heat resistance, with a Flammability Rating of UL94 V-0 at a thickness of equal to or greater than 3.0mm and a rating of UL94 V-1 at a thickness of less than 3.0mm.

Flame Ratings

  • HB: Slow horizontal burn with rate of less than 3 inches per min or self-extinguishes before 5 inches.
  • V-0: Vertical burning stops within 10 seconds with no flaming drips off test piece.
  • V-1: Vertical burning stops within 60 seconds with no flaming drips off test piece.
  • V-2: Vertical burning stops within 60 seconds but flaming drips may occur.

The matte finish of these Wing Screw Knobs provides the user with increased grip and reduces aesthetic damage from wear and tear. These Saddle Wing Screw Knobs are ideal for use where minor adjustments are required to fasten or hold an application in place.

We stock these Saddle Wing Screw Knobs in both male and female variants:

  • Male - Phenolic Plastic (Duroplast) with Zinc Plated Steel Thread
