Bonnet Latches

Bonnet latches are essential fastening components used to securely hold vehicle bonnets, hoods and access panels in place. At Vital Parts, we stock a robust 112mm x 25mm bonnet latch solutions designed for automotive and industrial environments where vibration resistance, durability and weather protection are critical.

Our lathes are suitable for use as a car bonnet latch on vehicles, machinery and equipment housings. Manufactured from durable materials such as stainless steel and high performance rubber, these latches are designed to withstand regular exposure to oil, chemicals and changing outdoor conditions while maintaining a reliable, secure hold.

The integrated bonnet latch spring mechanism and rubber components help absorb vibration, prevent rattling and ensure consistent tension, even in high-movement environments.

Bonnet hood latch applications are common across automotive, motorsport, agricultural and industrial sectors. They are widely used on vehicle bonnets, access hoods, cabinets, covers and inspection panels where both safety and accessibility are required. Their construction supports long-term external use, offering resistance to ozone, weather ageing and temperature extremes.

With a wide choice of fixing styles, sizes and materials available, our bonnet latch range provides a dependable solution for both replacement and new installations. Whether you are sourcing a bonnet latch for vehicle repair, equipment manufacture or custom builds, Vital Parts offers reliable products supported by technical knowledge and fast UK supply.

Bonnet latches are ideal for use within the Automotive industry and have a temperature range of between -30°C up to 100°C when in constant use. During shorter periods of time, these Bonnet Latches can be used at a temperature range of between -40°C up to 120°C due to the anti freeze property.

Because these Bonnet Latches have been designed for external use, they also have ozone and weather aging resistance properties, as well as having a low flammability rate; ensuring that they do not erode and remain secure for the duration of their use.

The Stainless Steel fixing plates have M4 fixing holes and can be fastened by using an M4 Screw or M4 Bolt. Check out our range of Stainless Steel Fasteners.
