Coach Bolts DIN 603
Coach Bolts, or Carriage Bolt as they are also known, are manufactured to DIN 603 and have part threaded and fully threaded shafts. Coach Bolt's particular shape allows them to lock into a square hole, preventing rotation when locking using a suitable nut. The large head also spreads the forces over a large surface area which is useful when joining softer materials such as wood. The smooth dome head also provides a clean aethetic finish.
Most commonly used in conjunction with Washers and Nuts, these products are used to hold fasteners in place, joining two or more parts together. We also offer Socket Head Screws and Machine Screws.
Our Carriage Bolts are available in A2 (Equivalent to 304), A4 (Equivalent to 316 Marine Grade) Stainless Steel or 4.8 Steel Bright Zinc Plated in metric sizes from M5 x 12mm to M16 x 300mm. Our CE Certifed Coach Bolts include a nut and are supplied in M6-M16 and 20mm-130mm length.
