Flanged Nyloc Nut DIN 6926

Our Flanged Nyloc Nuts, manufactured to DIN 6926, offer a superior level of vibration resistance and locking performance. These nuts feature an integrated nylon insert that provides a secure and reliable locking mechanism, preventing loosening due to vibration or shock. These are available in A2 and A4 in sizes from M3 to M12.

Flanged Nyloc Nuts are widely used in various industries, including:

  • Automotive: Securely fasten components in engines, transmissions, and other critical automotive assemblies.
  • Aerospace: Used in aircraft and spacecraft where vibration and extreme conditions are prevalent.
  • Heavy Machinery: Employed in heavy machinery and equipment to ensure the integrity of critical connections.

How Nylon Insert Nuts Work:

The nylon insert within the nut deforms slightly upon tightening, creating a frictional force that resists loosening. This self-locking mechanism ensures that the nut remains securely in place even under high vibration or dynamic loads.

Available Options:

  • DIN 6926 Flanged Nyloc Nuts: Our standard offering, providing a reliable and cost-effective solution.
  • Serrated DIN 6926 Flanged Nuts: Offer increased holding power and are ideal for applications with extreme vibration or shock loads.
  • DIN 6923 Flanged Nuts: Available without the nylon insert, providing a standard flanged nut for general-purpose applications.
  • DIN 985 & DIN 982 Nyloc Nuts: Available without the flange, offering a compact and versatile solution.
