Twist Locks

What are twist locks?
Twist locks feature a round disc base that sits flush against a panel or chassis, a long body that sets the stand-off height, and a shaped locking head designed to locate and retain a PCB or panel edge once the part is installed. The fixing is pushed into a mounting hole, where it compresses for insertion and then locks into place.
Many twist lock designs are intended for non-round mounting holes and use a quarter-turn action after insertion to lock securely. Once fitted, the head positively supports the board or panel while resisting vibration and accidental release.
