Domed Head Blind Rivets

Our Domed Head Blind Rivets, manufactured to ISO 15983, provide a secure and permanent fastening solution for joining sheet metal, panels and other materials where access is only available from one side. Commonly known as pop rivets, these open-end blind rivets feature a domed head that distributes clamping force across the material while providing a neat, professional finish.

Designed for industrial, automotive and manufacturing applications, these rivets are installed using a suitable riveting tool that pulls the mandrel through the rivet body to create a secure joint. Available in different diameters, lengths and grip ranges, our range provides reliable fastening options for a variety of material thicknesses and assembly requirements.

What Are ISO 15983 Domed Head Blind Rivets?

ISO 15983 specifies open-end blind rivets with break pull mandrels and protruding heads. During installation, the rivet is inserted into a pre-drilled hole before the mandrel is pulled, expanding the rivet body behind the material. The mandrel then breaks, leaving a permanent fixing that requires no access to the rear of the assembly.

These domed head pop rivets are commonly used for sheet metal fabrication, equipment assembly and panel fastening where conventional nuts and bolts are unsuitable.

How to Choose the Correct Blind Rivets

When selecting pop rivets, consider the rivet diameter, length, grip range and material combination. The grip range should match the combined thickness of the materials being joined to ensure a secure fixing.

Material selection is also important. Stainless steel rivets can offer improved corrosion resistance for applications exposed to moisture or demanding environments, while other material combinations may be suitable for general-purpose fastening. Always check the material specification of the selected rivet.
