What is Electrical Tape Used For?
Electrical tape, also known as insulation tape, is used to insulate and protect electrical wires and cables. Our electrical insulation tape is manufactured from PVC to BS EN 60454-3-1 standards and features a rubber based adhesive for strong and reliable adhesion.
Available in nine different colours, our PVC electrical tape can also be used for cable identification during installation, maintenance and repair work.
How Do You Use PTFE Tape?
PTFE tape, also referred to as Teflon tape, polytetrafluoroethylene tape or plumbers tape, is used to wrap around threaded pipe fittings to create a leak free seal. It is commonly applied to radiator valves, water taps and other threaded plumbing connections.
We supply two variants of PTFE tape. Yellow PTFE tape is designed for use with gas and hot water pipes, while white PTFE tape is WRAS approved for use with potable water systems.
