125mm x 50m Aluminium Foil Tape – 75 Microns, Silver Acrylic Adhesive
Manufactured with an aluminium foil backing and acrylic adhesive, this 125mm x 50m self adhesive aluminium foil tape is intended for carefully positioned masking and sealing work. Its broad format is useful for covering larger joins in foil-faced insulation.
What Is Aluminium Foil Tape?
This type of foil backed tape uses a flexible aluminium layer on an acrylic adhesive backing. It is applied by positioning the cut strip over the intended seam or masking area. In appropriate insulation work it serves as aluminium foil tape for insulation-facing joins.
Common Applications
- Foil-faced insulation: Spanning broader joints between compatible insulation facings.
- Ventilation ductwork: Applying a wide strip over prepared duct seams and joining areas.
- Surface masking: Covering larger specified workpiece areas before industrial finishing.
- Panel joining: Taping wide joins on compatible foil-backed panels or sheets.
