This 5.2mm x 19mm stainless steel bonded washer is suited to machinery covers, guards and equipment housings where a conventional flat washer alone would not provide a sealing element. The EPDM Rubber section is permanently bonded to the A2 Stainless Steel washer to create a single-piece sealing component.
What Are Bonded Sealing Washers?
Bonded Seal Washers, often referred to as Dowty washers, use a metal outer washer bonded to a rubber sealing section. The metal component provides support and load distribution while the elastomer compresses to help seal the fixing hole.
These bonded seal washers combine a metal support ring with a bonded elastomer seal for suitable bolted and screwed connections.
