High Temp Polyimide Discs
Our Ultra High Temperature Polyimide Discs, or Kapton Discs as they are also known, are perfect for the highest temperature situations, being able to withstand upwards of 260°c. This ability to withstand such high temperatures enables their use for many applications such as within powder coating, anodising, shot blasting industries, and can even be found within electrical systems and circuitry.
The physical properties of Polyimide remain stable even when used with coils and capacitors that can experience extreme temperatures, hence its popularity as an ultra high temp disc option. Discs tend to be used over tapes due to the range of sizes offered, providing versatility for covering and masking off smaller, more benign holes and gaps.
