High Torque Hose Clamps

High Torque Hose Clamps also known as Hi Torque or Tri Torque Hose Clamps are a type of worm drive hose clamp that use a screw mechanism to tighten or loosen a metal band around a hose or pipe. These clamps are designed as a heavy duty alternative to standard worm drive clamps making them suitable for stubborn leaks high pressure installations and for securing spiral wrap and reinforced hoses. The worm drive mechanism allows precise adjustment so the clamp can be tightened to the exact size and tension required for the application.

Unlike standard hose clips High Torque Hose Clamps feature a wider 16mm band and a reinforced housing which distributes clamping force more evenly around the hose. This construction allows the clamp to be tightened to torque levels up to three times higher than regular worm drive clamps without deforming the band or housing. This makes them ideal for applications where vibration temperature fluctuation or pressure changes could cause conventional clamps to loosen over time.

Our High Torque Hose Clamps are manufactured from high quality 304 stainless steel which provides excellent resistance to corrosion oxidation and environmental exposure. This makes them suitable for both indoor and outdoor use including automotive marine industrial fluid transfer and processing equipment. The smooth band design helps prevent hose damage while maintaining a strong secure grip.

We stock High Torque Hose Clamps with a 16mm band width covering diameters from 26mm up to 232mm allowing them to be used across a wide range of hose sizes and installations. These clamps are reusable easy to install and remove and provide a long lasting fastening solution for demanding environments.

The benefits of using High Torque Hose Clamps include:

  • Reinforced housing for increased strength
  • High corrosion resistance due to 304 stainless steel construction
  • Ability to be tightened to very high torque levels
  • Secure sealing for high pressure and vibration prone systems
  • Easy installation and removal with standard tools
  • Durable and reusable design for long term use
