This M8 x 28.4mm open NoGo™ Security Nut Cap protects M8 nuts fitted to bolts or threaded studs with visible projection. Its Mild Steel Bright Zinc Plated construction provides a durable plated metal enclosure, with a 8.4mm bolt hole, 20mm internal diameter and 14mm height. By allowing excess thread to pass through the open top, the cap can secure the fastening point while preserving the installed bolt length.
What Are Open NoGo™ Security Nut Caps?
An open NoGo™ cap combines a security base with a metal insert that includes a central thread opening. After the nut has been tightened, the insert is tapped securely into the base, surrounding the nut while the bolt or stud passes through the top. This format is useful where the original threaded projection must be retained.
