This 10.2mm ID nylon bush is sized with a 10.2mm internal bore, 14.9mm outside diameter, 12.4mm shaft length and 19.8mm flange diameter for use around larger fasteners, sleeves, shafts and equipment mounting points. It gives UK engineers a simple flanged insert for protecting drilled holes while adding a controlled shoulder inside the assembly.
Where a metal sleeve is not suitable, this nylon bushing provides a simple way to add clearance and separation around the fixing. In use, it works well as a plastic bushings where the flange needs to provide a defined stop and a cleaner external face.
