This 3.6mm ID flanged plastic bushing is sized with a 3.6mm internal bore, 4.3mm outside diameter, 12.7mm shaft length and 7.4mm flange diameter for use around small screws, pins, wires and compact panel fixings. It gives UK engineers a simple flanged insert for protecting drilled holes while adding a controlled shoulder inside the assembly.
Where a metal sleeve is not suitable, this nylon bushing provides a simple way to add clearance and separation around the fixing. This makes it suitable for plastic bushings and similar insulation sleeves where a non-metallic interface is preferred.
