Nylon Lock Hex Nut High DIN 982
Our Nylon Lock Hex Nuts High, also known as High Nyloc Nuts or High Nylock Nuts, are manufactured to DIN 982. Nylon Locking Nuts are nuts that increase friction in the thread to prevent the nut from loosening itself. The friction is caused by the nylon prevailing torque element in the nut, which results in axial and/or radial clamping in the bolted connection.The High Nylon Lock Nuts are taller than our standard Nylon Lock Nuts.
Most commonly used in conjunction with Bolts and Machine Screws, these products are used to hold fasteners in place, joining two or more parts together.
