Our Quick Release Detent Pins are made up of a Stainless-Steel shaft and two spring-loaded Stainless Steel ball bearings. To use this variation, tug at the pull ring to compress the springs which in turn retract the ball bearings and allow a space for the pin to be removed.
The pull ring offers two functions during use; an attachment site for a retaining chain to ensure that the pin is not mislaid and as a means of removing the pin due to the it’s slick finish and compact design. This Detent Pin is made from Stainless Steel 304, so you can be sure that this product will endure the test of time.
Installation Notes: This variant is designed to be inserted into a hole 0.1mm larger than the diameter of the body.
