When a removable mechanical hose connection is needed, this W2 worm drive clip adjusts across 8-12mm. A 9mm band encircles the hose and the screw turns to draw the band in for plumbing maintenance and repairs.
What Are Worm Drive Hose Clamps?
Worm gear hose clips hold a flexible hose against a pipe connection through a band tightened by a captive screw. Choose a diameter range that fits the outside of the assembled hose. The W2 design combines a stainless steel band with zinc-plated mild steel tightening components, so it is not an all-stainless construction. The 9mm width should be checked against the available space on the hose tail.
