Press Fit Spring Plunger

Our Press Fit Spring Plungers are made from 304 (A2) Stainless Steel or Acetal and have a smooth outer surface which allows for push-fit installation. These Spring Plungers are commonly used as detents or latching elements within larger assemblies. We supply these in 3 configurations, all of which contain a stainless steel spring for strength and environmental resistance.

Installation Notes: These Spring Plungers are designed to be press fit into a hole 0.1mm larger than the diameter of the body.

For maximum strength and durability, it is recommended that the stainless steel body and ball is selected, however the acetal variant offers a lower cost, reduced weight and low friction option. The acetal bodied spring plungers are available with either an acetal of stainless steel ball.

We also have Threaded Spring Plungers for installation into threaded holes.
