This 10.5mm x 29mm stainless steel bonded washer is suited to electrical enclosures, access panels and outdoor equipment where a conventional flat washer alone would not provide a sealing element. The EPDM Rubber section is permanently bonded to the A2 Stainless Steel washer to create a single-piece sealing component.
What Are Bonded Sealing Washers?
Bonded Seal Washers, often referred to as Dowty washers, use a metal outer washer bonded to a rubber sealing section. The metal component provides support and load distribution while the elastomer compresses to help seal the fixing hole.
For compatible fastening points that need both load spreading and sealing, our bonded washers provide a one-piece metal and EPDM solution.
